Balkans - Ep 02 - Delphi & Meteora
The day started with breakfast at 06:30am before getting on the road just after 07:15am. We have a full group of 46 people from all over the world filling up the coach, as we make our way north through Greece.
Our first destination was Delphi which is the second most important historical site in all of Greece after the Acropolis in Athens.
After lunch in the afternoon we made our way to Meteora to visit St Stephens monastery. This is the most accessible monastery in Meteora in between all the rock formations. After departing there were a couple of photo stops to check out some of the impressive views.
We then made our way to the hotel and had some free time for dinner, before resting ready for a new country on day 3 tomorrow.
