Balkans Preview - Spring 2019
I am a couple of months away from embarking on another journey which will see me visit the Balkans region of Europe. The tour will actually start in Athens, Greece and go through 10 different countries total before arriving back at the original start point 16 days later. Below I will briefly preview what is on the itinerary during this trip. Greece As i already mentioned the tour will start and end in Athens, Greece. I have actually been to Greece before when I was younger for a family holiday, but I will be counting it as a new country visited this time around as an adult. Some other places along this trip in Greece will be Delphi, Meteora, Kalabaka, and finally Kamena Vourla and Thessaloniki towards the end of the tour. Macedonia Moving on from Greece we move onto Macedonia which will be a new country for me. We will visit the capital city of Ohrid exploring the old town of the city with a guided walking tour.
