Image
The day started with breakfast at 06:30am before getting on the road just after 07:15am. We have a full group of 46 people from all over the world filling up the coach, as we make our way north through Greece. Our first destination was Delphi which is the second most important historical site in all of Greece after the Acropolis in Athens. Archaeological Site of Delphi. After lunch in the afternoon we made our way to Meteora to visit St Stephens monastery. This is the most accessible monastery in Meteora in between all the rock formations. After departing there were a couple of photo stops to check out some of the impressive views. The view from St. Stephen's Monastery. We then made our way to the hotel and had some free time for dinner, before resting ready for a new country on day 3 tomorrow. A video of this day can be found below:

I left home southbound to Kings Cross once again on the train, ready for another trip. Upon arrival into London I had a McDonald's which is right next to the station, and made my way across London on the Piccadilly line. I would be staying at Heathrow Terminal 5 just off site at Heathrow Lodge where I have a flight at 07:15am the following morning. You can book accommodation for a hotel here: https://www.booking.com/s/11_6/7d62e267 Terminal 5 at Heathrow Airport. Waking up early I took the free 423 bus back to Heathrow Airport and proceeded to the British Airways bag drop to offload my suitcase. The security line was minimal at 05:30am as I passed through with ease. My flight started to board just after 07:00am and the flight departed on time. 3 hours and 45 minutes later, and after a couple of time zone changes I landed in Athens, Greece. I had a transfer waiting for me in the arrivals lobby and the driver took me to the hotel. I was able to check-in to my room and later

I am making my final preparations over the next few days checking the itineraries optional excursions and planning what to do in my free time in various cities. I recently bought some new sunglasses as the frame on my old pair is starting to break, so I invested in a new pair now which will hopefully last for many trips in the future. The tour will start and finish in Athens, Greece and across the 16 days I will visit 10 different countries. When I get back I look forward to editing and posting my travel experiences through YouTube videos in the coming months. I will be trying some new editing software called DaVinci Resolve which can be downloaded for free here: https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/ca/products/davinciresolve/ I have tried to budget how much money I will need for the various countries currencies along the way. I have got 5 out of 8 currencies beforehand, and for the other 3
